Franklin Graham is sharing the profound reason why the next generation has found themselves taking a spot in the pews again.
In an interview with Fox News and shared to X, the Rev. Franklin Graham explained why a sudden resurgence of Gen Z and Millennials in the church is taking place right now.
“I think it’s socialism,” Graham said. “I think that Gen Z and Millennials have been fed the lie of socialism, and socialism is basically anti-God.”

Graham believes that because of this push of secularism, young people are now asking themselves deeper questions, pondering on what life might truly be all about.
“Yes, they’re going to church, but Bible sales are up. So, they’re buying Bibles, they’re reading for themselves, they’re going to church….” he continued. Graham also believes Charlie Kirk’s assassination is a major factor in contributing to the spiritual hunger that people are having for something deeper and more meaningful.
“I think people are wanting to know the truth. And that’s the thing: Charlie was teaching truth, and I think people want to know the truth. They’ve listened to lies and lies and lies from their university professors and those coming out of the Department of Education. I think they’re wanting to know the truth,” Graham said.
Disillusioned with empty promises and hungry for truth, young people are opening their Bibles, returning to church and searching for something eternal. In a generation weary of lies, the renewed pursuit of God may signal that the next great move of the Holy Spirit is already underway.
