The 3I/ATLAS comet continues to puzzle scientists and onlookers alike with its uncanny features.
A Daily Mail report noted that the space object “developed a strange ‘heartbeat'” which is reportedly making it much brighter.
Telescope research found that there were bits of dust and gases which were bursting out in streams approximately “every 16.16 hours,” which is quite similar to that of a heartbeat.
The outlet also noted that this rhythm of 3I/ATLAS is making it dim and glow brighter by “20 to 40 percent.” However, this is not the only strange, unusual discovery regarding the interstellar object.
According to LiveScience, scientists also found “cryovolcanoes,” or “ice volcanoes,” are exploding on the comet.
As the science-based outlet noted, “…as the comet approached the sun, a series of cryovolcanoes erupted on its surface.” It is believed that these ice jets could answer the question of what the comet is composed of. Research found that the composition of the comet is similar to that of dwarf planets near Neptune.
As science continues to prove how fascinating 3I/ATLAS is, believers are reminded that creation itself is preaching a message in these final days. The heavens are not silent—they are declaring the glory of God, pointing humanity back to the One who set every star in place. In a world shaking with signs and uncertainty, phenomena like 3I/ATLAS echo Jesus’ words that there will be signs in the sun, moon and stars during the last days.
God is still speaking, still revealing and still calling His people to watch, discern and stay ready for what comes next.
