In an interview with the New York Post, Vice President JD Vance was asked about his interest and knowledge regarding aliens.
Admitting that he had yet to take the time to really study government information regarding UFOs, Vance promised that he wants to “get to the bottom” of these increased sightings and unexplainable events.
“I will get to the bottom of this,” Vance said. “It’s going to take me a little bit of time.”

When asked if he believes in aliens, Vance examined the evidence from a spiritual perspective.
“I wouldn’t say that I do or don’t believe it,” he said. “I’m a big believer that there are things out there we can’t explain. If another person sees an alien, maybe I see an angel or a demon.”

He further stated his belief that there are real, spiritual forces at work in the world around us.
“I’m a big believer that there are like spiritual forces working on the physical world that a lot of us don’t see and a lot of us don’t understand and a lot of us don’t appreciate. Is it aliens or is it our guardian angel? Or is it aliens or is it a not-so-guardian force that doesn’t care about us, and in fact, actively wishes us harm? I don’t know the answer to that question. What I try to do is I try to say my prayers, I try to be as good of a person as I can be, and I try to do a good job, and hopefully, that’s all I need to do,” Vance stated.
The Vice President has continued to be very open about his faith, including at the latest Turning Point USA tour stop at Ole Miss where he tried to inspire the next generation to put their trust in God.
“I believe that I’ve been placed in this position for a brief period of time to do the most amount of good for God and for the country that I love so much,” Vance said in response to a student’s question. “Jesus Christ is the author of the fate of human history, and we are charged to do everything that we can to effectuate that vision, to make our country a more virtuous place, a more prosperous place…”

He also shared how, even though his wife, Usha, grew up Hindu, they are raising their children to be Christians and he hopes that she too will come to Jesus as her Lord and Savior someday.
“Do I hope eventually that she is somehow moved by the same thing that I was moved in by church? Yes, I honestly do wish that because I believe in the Christian gospel, and I hope my wife eventually comes to see it the same way,” Vance stated.
