For the first time in U.S. history, Congress has introduced a resolution recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over the Temple Mount—a site at the heart of biblical prophecy and the future construction of the third temple.
Congresswoman Claudia Tenney of New York spearheaded the measure, calling for equal access for Christians, Jews, and Muslims at this sacred location. In a recent episode of the Endtime show discussing this historic moment, Vince Stegall said, “We think everyone in the world should know that a third temple is coming…according to Scripture, that’s just before the second coming of Jesus Christ.”

The resolution emphasizes that the Temple Mount is the holiest site in Judaism, while also acknowledging its importance to all three Abrahamic faiths. It reaffirms Israel’s control over Jerusalem, echoing President Trump’s Peace for Prosperity plan and the Abraham Accords, which support freedom of worship for all faiths.
This legislative milestone comes as Jewish worshippers increasingly return to the Temple Mount—a practice largely restricted for nearly 2,000 years. Recent events have seen Jews openly praying, laying prostrate on the ground and even sounding the shofar, symbolizing a historic shift in access and practice at this sacred site. During the show Doug Norvell also pointed out, “Even when Israel took back the Temple Mount in 1967, they placed it under Muslim authority to keep from having war break out again…we’ve never seen this until now.”
Prophetic experts highlight that the building of the third temple is not merely symbolic, but a literal milestone preceding the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. According to Scripture, this temple will be central to end-time events, with the Antichrist eventually appearing there to deceive the world. Revelation 11 specifically mentions a temple with an altar and worshippers, measured by an angel—a future, prophetic temple clearly distinct from past structures.
