Scientists are in disarray after an unexpected “mega fire” hit an unlikely location.
In the United Kingdom, the region experienced their first ever “mega fire,” according to the Daily Mail. This event, which occurred back in June, took place in the Scottish Highlands burning 42.5 square miles. The areas affected were Carrbridge and Dava Moor, and the fire was the first of this size to historically hit Dava Moor. However, as the report noted, “experts say that this could be a sign of things to come.”
