Lauren Daigle is calling on Christians to stand boldly for their faith.
In an interview with ChurchLeaders at the Dove Awards, Daigle expressed how this is the current moment for Christians to stand boldly for the truth of the gospel.

“Get ready and tell the truth,” she said. “Don’t shy away from the truth. Tell the truth. The truth is hard, but the truth delivered in love is amazing.”
The music artist further noted that, “It’s hard because there’s so many things that are pressure cookers right now…I mean, I just saw this thing about what’s happening in Nigeria…We think we know. We do not know. We have luxury Christianity over here. That’s what this is, and we need to act like it.”
As Christian persecution continues to ramp up around the world, Daigle is warning the church, “Get ready, get prepared, and start paying attention to the things that actually matter.”
She further noted how Christians should be fixated on things that are “tried and true,” instead of the temporal. ““At the end of your life, is this what you’re going to be talking about?”
Ultimately, as Daigle points out, we should be seeking to hear the Lord say, “Well done, good and faithful servant,” not the applause of the world.
Daigle’s new song, “Let It Be a Hallelujah” is her message to the church about praising God in any situation.
