As we continue to see prophetic words come to pass by the late Kim Clement, one in particular just may be in progress: America is at a Turning Point.
On Mar. 12, 2012, Clement said that he could sense a corruption and exposure that would be coming to light, and it would happen through a “strange happening.”

“I sensed corruption after that, and then an exposure of this by a strange happening, a strange turn of events,” Clement said. “…the strange happening or strange turn of events that will literally be the turning point in American history…Please, repent.”
Clement described how this Turning Point would arise from a bitter season, one that challenges hearts and minds, yet ultimately yields sweetness: “I knew if I’d spit it out, I would not have tasted the sweet…what is bitter will turn out to be sweet.” Using the story of Samson and the lion, Clement illustrated how attacks and trials—though bitter at first—can produce life, strength and unexpected blessing. Just as Samson discovered honey in the carcass of the lion that once attacked him, Clement taught that moments of national bitterness can bring restoration and spiritual awakening if God’s people respond with faith, prayer and unity.
This prophetic theme of a “Turning Point” is taking on a renewed significance in light of the tragic death of Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA. While Clement spoke of a moment when America would face bitter challenges that would ultimately yield something sweet, Kirk’s passing seems to be one of those bitter moments birthing unexpected spiritual fruit.
In the weeks following Kirk’s death, reports have surfaced of an unprecedented number of young people turning to Christ, seeking hope, truth and reconciliation amid cultural chaos. What initially appeared as loss and sorrow is now revealing itself as a catalyst for spiritual awakening, echoing Clement’s message that God can transform bitter circumstances into moments of sweetness and divine restoration.

As America navigates this pivotal moment, Clement’s vision serves as a reminder that God is always at work behind the scenes. The bitterness of trials, corruption and national unrest is never the final word.
