In today’s rapidly shifting cultural and political landscape, prophetic voices Jonathan Cahn and Amanda Grace are revealing a deeper spiritual dimension at work—one rooted in ancient biblical archetypes.
Cahn’s new book, The Avatar, discusses these deep spiritual implications. “The overarching theme is a spiritual warfare narrative, where leaders embody archetypes and spiritual forces: Trump as a God-appointed warrior purging anti-biblical powers, Biden and Harris representing apostasy and anti-biblical influences,” he says.

Donald Trump, for instance, is identified with Jehu, a warrior king from Israel’s history. “Trump is unpredictable, what he’s going to say,” Cahn notes. “He was very impulsive, like a wild man… he purges the government of basically people who have anti-biblical values.” In contrast, Joe Biden is likened to Jehoram, a king who initially sought what was right but ultimately fell into apostasy. “Jehoram… became an apostate and he turned against all these biblical values. Well, so did Joe Biden,” Cahn explains.
Kamala Harris is framed as Athaliah, Jezebel’s daughter, inheriting anti-biblical agendas. Harris’s life, Cahn suggests, mirrors the mythology of the goddess Kamala, highlighting a spiritual alignment with ancient pagan patterns. “Her middle name is Devi… it means the goddess… she was born as India was celebrating the day of the goddess Kamala.”
The narrative extends beyond mere symbolism to reveal a strategic spiritual battle influencing the nation. “The rise and fall of leaders, their alliances, and their policies are part of a divine pattern that has repeated itself throughout history,” Cahn notes. Each leader, whether knowingly or not, is a vessel for spiritual archetypes—forces either aligned with God or opposing His purposes.

Ultimately, this prophetic perspective transforms the way faith communities view leadership and cultural movements. It serves as both a warning and a call to action: to discern the spiritual forces at work, to intercede in prayer and to align with God’s purposes in a nation at a crossroads.
