Is it possible that some of the world events we are seeing happen right now are actually part of the fulfillment of prophecy? Are we actually seeing world leaders rise up for the Lord to bring them back down to reality?
Back in 2011, the late prophet Kim Clement predicted that there would be great men vying to play the role of God.

“It started way back, Napoleon Bonaparte, Mussolini, Hitler…God says ‘watch how they have tried. Look at Kim in Korea. These are small men, but with great appetites for power…I will topple the short men that have endeavored to take My power and use it.'”
He further spoke right into the growing talks of a call for socialism and the removal of God from the public square.
“History without God? There can’t be no history without God. This is historic. Therefore, God says, ‘Watch how I make history.'”
In a later prophecy and prayer from 2015, Clement also predicted that those who were trying to assume power against Israel would fail, along with the downfall of leadership in Russia.
“What of this king that says he is a god? I say to you, ‘it shall be a very short time and you shall find out that you are not god. You shall find out that I am the Lord…why from Russia is that one saying he is a god? I already told him that I will slay him.”

These prophecy seems to make even more sense following the meeting between China’s Xi Jinping, Russia’s Vladimir Putin and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un. It is a reminder that some will become hungry for more and more power, but ultimately God is the only one who is in control of it all.
