In a striking convergence of political developments and prophetic warning, Amanda Grace of Ark of Grace Ministries is urging believers to pray ahead of the upcoming meeting between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Aug. 15, 2025.
The meeting comes just weeks after Grace says she received a word from the Lord on July 18, 2025, specifically mentioning Russia, Alaska and a coming geopolitical shake-up. In the prophetic excerpt, she recounts hearing:
A bear is around the bend, says the Lord. He’s talking about Russia. There is a temptation for Russia in this hour to do flybys and such threats against America, says the Lord. Alaska is shaking for a reason… It is a warning of what is about to come.

According to the prophecy, both Russian and Ukrainian leadership will lose their seats “in tandem,” with one ousted by “a coup of their own making.” Grace said the Lord revealed this would disrupt the unity between Russia, Iran and China, as God takes “an ax of judgment” to their root system to delay their advance.
Now, with the Trump-Putin summit set in Alaska, Grace believes these prophetic warnings could be beginning to unfold.
“This enormous meeting has been announced in Alaska for the month of August,” she said. “What I’m gonna call this is an ‘Avenging August’ that works both ways—those wanting to avenge what they feel President Trump has done to them, as well as avenging what has happened to America.”
Grace emphasized that this month will be a time of high-stakes spiritual and political conflict, with forces on both sides seeking to “avenge” perceived wrongs. She urged Christians to be alert and to intercede for God’s will to be accomplished in the days ahead.
From a biblical perspective, prophetic voices often point to the imagery of a bear as symbolic of Russia, drawing from Daniel 7’s vision of end-times empires. Alaska’s strategic proximity to Russia has historically made it a flashpoint for both military tension and prophetic interpretation. Grace’s message suggests that events in the coming weeks could have ripple effects on global alliances, particularly in relation to Iran and China.

She also stressed that this is not a time for fear, but for believers to be anchored in God’s Word and ready for spiritual battle. “Pray, be in prayer,” she said. “Pray for what’s about to happen with this meeting and continue to be in the Word of God every single day. Keep the faith, armor up.”
With the summit only a few days away, the eyes of both the political world and the prophetic community will be on Alaska. Whether the meeting will serve as a bridge for peace or a catalyst for greater division remains to be seen.
