In a moment that stunned millions of viewers, former Navy SEAL and entrepreneur Chadd Wright used one of the largest podcasts in the world to deliver a straightforward challenge to Joe Rogan: Was God calling him?
Revivalist Isaiah Saldivar recently reacted to the viral clip, praising Wright’s boldness and breaking down why it struck such a chord. “You are on the biggest podcast in the world and you stop and say, ‘I wonder if God’s calling you, Joe.’ … That’s something I would want to say. But would we be bold enough to say it?” Saldivar said.

During the three-hour episode, Wright reportedly spoke openly to Rogan about God, the gospel and the power of salvation—laying out the message of the cross, humanity’s inability to believe without divine intervention and the “doctrine of election.” Saldivar noted that Rogan, who once dismissed the Bible as myth, now appears more open to faith after repeatedly hosting Christian guests. “The Lord is doing something in his heart,” Saldivar said, even pointing to Rogan’s visibly moved expression.

For Saldivar, the moment was more than a viral soundbite, it was an answer to prayer. “This is amazing… God send Christians to these big podcast platforms. And the Lord is doing it,” he said. He encouraged believers to pray for Rogan’s salvation, imagining the impact if one of the world’s most influential voices began sharing the gospel. “Millions of people hear the gospel. That should be something we pray about,” he said.
The conversation later shifted to near-death experiences, with Wright describing the final moments of a close friend who, despite being paralyzed from a stroke, sat up in bed, reached toward the air with both hands and then passed away. For Wright, it was as if “his transportation had arrived.” Rogan and Wright discussed how similar accounts often emerge from hospice workers, patients, and survivors, suggesting a glimpse into the afterlife.

Saldivar embraced those moments as powerful faith-builders but kept the focus on the central message. “It’s great when you get to see it, but you can get too carried away with all that stuff… The bottom line is there’s no doubt that the Lord is calling Joe Rogan.”
