God has given us His authority through the name of Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit. However, as prophetic voice Jenny Weaver warns, there are some who are trying to operate in the spiritual realm without doing things the Lord’s way.
“The Lord had began to talk to me about illegals in the spirit,” says Weaver. “When I heard, ‘they’re illegal in the spirit,’ the Lord was speaking to me about certain things…we are accessing things that we have no business accessing. We are breaking laws of the Spirit of Life that we have no business breaking.”

Weaver noted that right now, the body of Christ is in a season of pruning to be made right with God before His return.
“This is the cutting season,” says Weaver. “And there is strong spiritual circumcision that is happening. Cutting and correction…the Lord corrects those He loves. So, if you’re not getting corrected, you’re not getting loved on.”
Weaver believes that this is the time to stop treating long-time Christians as infants, and to start expecting greater spiritual maturity from them.

“We’re all committed to come up higher,” she says. “You can learn to walk in the Spirit the easy way. You can go willingly. You can submit. You can get your spirit under control. You can get the works of the flesh out. You can get out of that carnal mind. You can come out of delusion, and you can walk in the Spirit the easy way, or He’ll teach you the hard way.”
In this critical hour, the call to spiritual maturity is louder than ever. God is inviting His people to walk in true authority—aligned with His Word, led by His Spirit and rooted in righteousness.

As the church undergoes a season of pruning and correction, believers must choose obedience over convenience and authenticity over appearance. The path forward demands a deeper surrender, a higher standard and a willingness to be refined for His purposes.
