A mother killed her daughter by stuffing a crucifix, among other religious regalia, down her throat, according to police reports.
Mother Juanita Gomez said her daughter Geneva Gomez was “possessed by the devil,” police say.
The 49-year-old mother punched the 33-year-old daughter multiple times in the face “and forced a crucifix and religious medallion down her throat until blood came out of her daughter’s mouth. Juanita saw her daughter die and then placed her body in the shape of a cross.”
Police found Geneva dead on Saturday. Juanita has now been charged with first-degree murder.
Juanita claims she has an attorney who believes in God, “like me.”
An Oklahoma judge denied Juanita bond.
