Muslims adhere to Sharia Law in all aspects of their lives, allowing the ancient words to dictate when to rise and when to sleep, when to eat and when to fast.
Americans view Muslims “cooly,” according to a Pew Research Center study, and admit they know “little to nothing” about Islam.
But that is unacceptable, says former FBI and counter-terrorism agent John Guandolo.
“When this enemy speaks to us, we have to understand the words they use through the filter of Sharia, Islamic law. Everything that they do, everything they say, has to be filtered through Sharia,” Guandolo says.
