Man Who Spent 23 Minutes in Hell: Are You Ready To Meet Jesus?

The last words Jesus spoke to me in my 23 Minutes In Hell vision were, “Tell them I am coming very, very soon.” Then He repeated Himself and said again, “Tell them I am coming very, very soon.”

The Bible is clear that Jesus is coming back to rapture His believers, bring judgment upon the wicked and rule and reign on the earth. Whatever we may believe about the timing of the rapture is not as important as if we are ready for His return. The question to ask yourself is, “Am I ready?”

Would your heart be condemned if you faced Jesus right now? Is there sin in your life that you must repent of? Would Jesus say that He has a relationship with you?

The Bible is clear that becoming a true believer in Jesus Christ includes having a heart that is willing to turn from sin and surrender to God. The result is a person who is changed on the inside. This is accomplished by God’s Spirit when you sincerely put your trust in Jesus Christ to cleanse you from all sin, and save you from an eternity in hell.

If you are someone who calls yourself a Christian, ask yourself, “Am I living a life that is pleasing to God? Am I lukewarm or indifferent toward God?” Lukewarm can also be defined as having no time for God or pursuing other things in life as more important than God. Right now, you have the opportunity to turn back to Him, but tomorrow you may not have that chance.

If you are someone who has never surrendered your life to Jesus Christ and asked forgiveness for your sin, Ephesians 2:12 says, you are without God and without hope in the world. This is a frightening thought, but the good news is that you can come to Jesus Christ and receive forgiveness and His salvation today.

Maybe you’ve wondered how to do that. The first step is to understand and acknowledge your need for a Savior. We are all born in sin and have a sinful nature. We would have to be perfect to enter heaven, since heaven and God are perfect. If we will trust in what Jesus did for us on the cross, God looks at our trust and accepts us as if we were perfect.

Jesus died in our place, taking our sins upon His flesh, and washed away our sin with His blood.

Acknowledge your sins and ask for forgiveness today. Invite Jesus into your life and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. Pray from your heart. Pray the prayer we have provided below or something similar with your own mouth. Then you must follow Jesus and grow in your knowledge of Him.

Dear God in heaven, I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood for my sin. I believe He was buried and rose from the dead. Thank You, Jesus for loving me so much that You gave Your life for me. I ask You to forgive me of my sin, and my indifference toward You. I choose to turn from sin and give You my life. I receive You Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for cleansing me of all my sin and past mistakes. I receive Your forgiveness. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit now. Thank You for the grace and power to live a life pleasing to You, in Jesus name. Amen. {eoa}
