The victory is ours. As believers in Christ Jesus, we have been given victory in every area of our lives.
Where the enemy has endeavored to steal our identity as victors through a spirit of rejection, know that Jesus defeated this evil spirit. To know that rejection is an evil spirit, a strongman of darkness and not our personality, is half our victory.
Casting it and all its counterparts out moves us along the road to that victory. Then, as we continue to resist the behaviors and responses developed as a result of rejection—through acknowledging who we are in Christ Jesus and declaring His word daily—we begin to lay hold of the inheritance that rightfully belongs to us as believers.
This coming we week, we’ll do a corporate deliverance to break the chains and fetters of this identity thief. I’m excited to see God set His people free.
