Pastor Greg Laurie says one of the keys to happiness is obeying God’s commandments. This includes prioritizing God as first in our lives—not money, status, fame or even other people.
“God’s commandments, as we discover, are not bars of a cage to keep us in; they’re barriers of protection to keep evil out,” Laurie says. ” … What are we going to base our morality on? Are we going to vote on it? I hope not. We’re just going to try to reach consensus? No, we need a foundation to build on.”
