It is 2018! Many of us have great ideas and plans we want to manifest in 2018. We have made big plans. We have made vision boards, a list, spoken things into the atmosphere, but have we gone to God first?
We know what we want but what does God want? We have laid out a blueprint, but what is God’s blueprint? Have we gone to Him first? Have we allowed Him to give us the desire first?
Most of us see something then we want it. God gives us a desire and when we come into agreement with it, that desire will manifest. He will always protect His Word. For His Word will not return to Him void (Isa. 55:11).
He said, “My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways”(Isaiah 55:8a). So how can we know what we truly have been allotted in this season unless we go to Him first?
He said, “I will do exceedingly, abundantly above all you can ask or think” (see Eph. 3:20-21). I believe if we have seen it, touched it, heard about it, He has something even greater than that prepared for us so it can be used to advance His kingdom.
The Bible tells us not to lean onto our own understanding, acknowledge God and He will direct out path (Prov. 3:5). Now I understand why, because we would limit all possibilities of Gods greatness for us. He wants to show off through us. This is why the devil tempts us to be anxious and move forward without God. We can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us (Phil. 4:13).
So I urge you to seek God first. Ask Him for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matt. 6:13).
