Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis was jailed last week for refusing to issue a same-sex marriage license to a gay couple.
Although we’ve seen bakers and pizza shop owners and florists face financial penalties and even death threats for refusing to service gay weddings, the jailing of Davis for taking a stand on the Word of God is a first in America on the same-sex marriage issue.
