Throughout Scripture we are told to bless Israel and the Jewish people. Simultaneously Israel has long been at the center of wars and rumors of war. It is disheartening to see the threats of violence and bloodshed that have become a part of everyday life for those living in the city of Christ’s return. We must continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem as the news media highlights war brewing between Israel and Iran.
- Ask the Lord for peace and protection for the inhabitants of Israel.
- Pray that the truth of God’s Word would shine brightly in this region.
- Pray that salvation would be brought to the Jewish people living in this nation and throughout the world.
DAILY PRAYER
Lord, please extend your mercy and grace to Israel. We ask You to bless its people and cause them to prosper. Let its leaders turn to You, Jesus, for hope and protection and not trust in man.
