Seeing the heart, mind, and character of God will cure our compromise and instability and motivate us to bright righteousness and holy passion. Personal, experiential knowledge of the person of Jesus will fuel obedience and zeal. It will put a stop to our restlessness and discontent. A new depth of intimacy with Him will extinguish our boredom and capture our hearts. Just a glimpse of Him …

God, I hate the compromise that creeps into my life at times. I long to be filled with holy passion and righteousness. Forgive my disobedient spirit and careless heart. Give me a fresh glimpse of Your love for me.
The great need of the church is to see, know, and
