My nieces had been teasing me about the growth of peach fuzz on my face, so I decided to use some hair remover on it. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how quickly it worked, and in the process, I managed to remove my eyebrows as well.
Not a problem, I thought, I’ll just use pencil till they grow back.
Before they did, I went to hear a special speaker at my church. Her testimony was so moving that I sobbed into a tissue through most of it.
After the talk ended there was a small gathering in the fellowship hall to give us a chance to greet the speaker. I listened intently to her conversation for a while and then decided to go to the ladies’ room.
When I gazed into the mirror, I realized to my horror that one of my eyebrows had been wiped off completely. I had been walking around all evening with only one!

My two daughters and their children were visiting my home one day. The youngest daughter is the mother of 3-year-old triplets, one of whom was very attached to her aunt.
As the aunt prepared to leave that day, she explained to my little granddaughter that she needed to go because her son had to be home at a certain time. The 3-year-old looked at her aunt and said, “I thought you were the mommy!”
