Pastor Nathan Bentley of LifePoint Church in Arizona is sounding the alarm over a viral trend sweeping the nation known as “6-7,” revealing what he calls its satanic roots and spiritual influence—especially over youth.

“I woke up and saw a video about a trend I had given no thought to,” Bentley explained. “I said, ‘Yeah, I looked on the internet. There’s nothing wrong with that.’ But when I saw it this morning, I realized it wasn’t just a harmless meme. There is a spiritual side to this, and we need to pay attention.”

He recounted his own morning routine before the revelation, when he saw a video that gave more context on the song and the singer, Skrilla, who started the “6-7” trend. “At first, I thought it was just a funny thing kids do. But what I found was something much deeper.”

Bentley explained how Skrilla has publicly admitted to membership in the Church of Satan. “He worships Oshun and Ogun and the gods,” the pastor said. “He sacrifices goats, chickens and mice depending on the ritual, all in pursuit of favor and success in Hollywood. Since committing fully, he says his career has taken off.”

The pastor described the content of Skrilla’s music as particularly concerning. “The song is only about two minutes long. It’s full of references to sex and drugs, but halfway through, he inserts the Baby Shark theme. Why would a hardcore persona, whose singing about things that are very mature, do that unless he wants to appeal to an audience?” he asked.

He also addressed skepticism from others who downplay the trend as harmless. “Some say, ‘Pastor, you’re over-obsessed. It’s just where he’s from, 6-7 is just his city.’ Really? So, it has no connection to the god Ogun or the god Tamara who he says he worships?”

The pastor tied this trend to a broader cultural issue, calling out mainstream artists such as Beyoncé and Taylor Swift. “Beyoncé has said, ‘When I take the stage, I take the form of Oshun, the goddess of fertility and sex,’” he explained. “Billie Eilish…The imagery is more demonic than anything you’ll find in the Book of Satan. They’ve stopped even hiding it.”

He challenged the Church to recognize the cultural deception while maintaining personal discernment: “I know that there is a spiritual realm and a spiritual world, then why would I even want to get close to the edge of it? Just stay away from it.”

Referencing the prophet Jeremiah, Bentley emphasized the importance of discernment and vigilance. “Jeremiah was telling the people, ‘This worship is wrong. Going to this temple is wrong. Going to these gatherings and providing a financial offering is not honoring Yahweh. You’re being lied to.'”

Trends like “6-7” may seem like innocent memes or viral songs, but they can subtly influence hearts and minds, especially those of children and young people. The call is clear: stay vigilant, protect your family and seek God’s guidance, because the spiritual forces behind these cultural phenomena are real—and only by walking in awareness and faith can we safeguard our homes, our children and our own souls.
