When you look in the Bible, it is not hard to find God doing miraculous things. Whether through men or outside of men, He was not shy about doing things that showed His power and glory on earth.
When Jesus began His ministry on earth, He worked miracles on a regular basis. Not only did He do supernatural things, but He also promised greater works to those who believe (see John 14:12-14). Unfortunately today, many struggle with God doing the miraculous, especially through men. Sadly, there are those who think God’s power working through men stopped with the apostles of the Bible.
In spite of all the doubt, the testimonies continue to pour in, and I am thankful God is still doing miracles through men! In the podcast, Kingdom Authority With James Alford, Steve Hemphill talks with me about the spiritual warfare tent stakes God gave him. These stakes have been so profound in stopping the work of Satan around the world that in one city, they caused the crime to go down over 40%.
When I think about what God is doing with these tent stakes, I think about Acts 19:11-12 and how God did special miracles through the apostle Paul with handkerchiefs and aprons.
