Evangelist Todd White’s daughter texted him that she dreamed someone held a gun to his head and shot him. Rather than instilling fear in White, it actually invigorated him, he says, because he lives a life fully surrendered to Jesus.
“I’ve already lost my life for the gospel,” White says. “I am not afraid to die. I’ll just go be with Jesus. My wife gets freaked out sometimes when I say that I’ve already lost my life for the gospel. The problem is that with fear, fear creeps in the body of Christ because people haven’t given their life to Jesus. They’ve incorporated Jesus in. And Jesus incorporated into your lifestyle isn’t going to work.”
