When it’s time to spring clean our homes, we empty out the closets, give away unwanted clothes, and sweep, mop and wash until the house looks and smells new. And so it is with the believer. The Father wants us to live authentic lives as modeled by His Son, and throughout our journey, He will do spiritual cleaning. It is during seasons of difficulty and God-appointed tests that we discover what is in us. Reputation is what we are on the outside, but the Holy Spirit reveals the true character of a person.
