As we move through 2023, we will continue to see more shaking in the world. We are living in the last days, and the Bible says that perilous times will come.
It is more important than ever for every Christ follower to know and believe the Bible. Have you taken the time to research the origins and validity of the Bible for yourself?
To start with, the Bible is a collection of 66 books, written by 40 authors, over a 1,500-year period, on three continents, in three different languages. These 40 men all wrote about the coming Savior. Forty men who lived years apart, told about the same person. There are no discrepancies or disagreement between them. In addition, they wrote over 300 prophecies or predictions about one man 800 years before He was even born, and every one of those prophesies was fulfilled by Jesus Christ.
Christianity has been investigated by thousands of scholars, historians, archeologists and skeptics, and they have found the Bible to be true and accurate. In addition, many of the world’s false religions are founded on, either one man’s vision, a visit from a supernatural being or what they describe as an encounter with God Himself. Each religion was created by one person, who wrote one book and based an entire belief system on his individual experience. It’s astonishing that millions of people around the world follow these religious cults with no real understanding of their history.
Some people think there is no difference among religions, including Christianity. They believe that any kind of spirituality is a valid path to obtain salvation. Many also believe a person can find God in their own way. However, Jesus said He is the only way in John 14:6, and it’s stated again in Acts 4:12, and throughout the Bible. Jesus was either telling the truth when He said He was the Son of God and the only way to heaven, or He was a liar. Remember that no other religious figure ever died for your sins, and then rose from the dead. Jesus said He would, and He did.
Man has been given a choice; believe the words of Jesus when He said He is the only way to heaven, or call Him a liar. Every person on earth will be challenged to weigh the evidence, consider the facts and decide for themselves what they believe.
Without investigating and seeking, people will remain ignorant, and ignorance will cost them their eternal soul.
