Pastor Vlad Savchuk of the HungryGen movement joins Isaiah Saldivar in this episode of Revival Lifestyle on the Charisma Podcast Network to unpack what it would look like for a generation of people to stand up in their spiritual giftings and be equipped for spiritual warfare.
From a place of deep insecurity as a child, Savchuk says “I was convinced I was ugly, I was worthless, I was deformed and I was so scared of people. … I really had a hard time believing God had a plan for somebody like me.”
Then, God used him to build a church and is teaching him how to instill a desire for things of the Spirit within it. Savchuk says, “The Lord started to challenge me to bring prayer as the center and as the most important thing in the church. … I’m telling you, friend, the supernatural warfare, it begins in prayer.” Sacvchuk adds, “If we won’t choose battle, we will slip into bondage. .. We all live in bondage or in the battle.”
In his discussion with Savchuk of how to best equip believers to operate in the spiritual realm, Saldivar poses this question to the faith community, “How long are you going to look for somebody else to do what God has called you to do? How long are you going to sit back and watch other people do what you should be doing?”
