A soul tie, whether ungodly or godly, is a spiritual link between two or more people. Soul ties can be established with places, churches and even certain objects.
Often, the familiar spirit of another person may need to be cast out in order to be free, especially if the person has controlled or abused you or you have been sexually active with the person.
Many times, people lose the ability to make common-sense decisions because of these ungodly soul ties. These ungodly ties can bind you and, at times, cause a broken or torn soul (see Ps. 7:2).
In 2 Corinthians 6:14, we are told to not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever. We can yoke ourselves to someone and come under attack from the enemy by establishing an ungodly soul tie—even with another believer. These soul ties can and will will hold you in bondage until they are broken.
Over the next weeks on Setting the Captives Free on the Charisma Podcast Network, we will be praying to break them, so you can live free. {eoa}
