God’s Power Unleashed

While preparing for a podcast, the Lord cautioned me about keeping Him in a box. I knew I had done this in the past but was surprised that I was still limiting God. I had lost most of my summer due to being in the hospital and experiencing a near-death health threat. During this time, He had opened my heart to the many ways He was fighting for me.

In the vision, I was standing in a large room with boxes lined up against a wall. Each box had a lid that could have been easily removed; yet they remained inside the building unopened. Occasionally, someone would find their box, dig around for what they needed, put the lid back on and place the box back in its proper place. The boxes were stored in order, neatly arranged according to size.

The Lord began to talk to me about these boxes, how we keep Him in a box. I noticed most of the boxes were small, for they contain only what we believe we can handle. Some boxes were full of Scripture but had no power attached to them. There were boxes full of rules, laws and limitations. Other very small boxes contained the words “saved.” Every box had hopes and dreams but because they were never let out of the box, they seldom were fulfilled. Some were full of gifts and anointings waiting to be let loose.

Then I heard the combination of the sound of a tornado and the rattling of an earthquake, shaking the ground where these boxes were stored. It toppled the boxes over, forced lids to come loose and as the shaking became more violent, complete disorder filled the room. A powerful wind entered the room, flinging the boxes into even more disarray. I watched as covers no longer fit upon the boxes. People were in chaos as they struggled to place the boxes back into order. Yet some grabbed their boxes and excitedly ran out the room.

I heard the Lord exclaim, “It is time to unleash My power!” Church, it is time to remove those lids that prevent us from walking in the power of the Lord. Grab your box full of gifts and anointing.
