SMSgt Oscar Rodriguez says he was “assaulted” by U.S. military members and forcibly removed from a private retirement service because he planned to talk about God. Rodriguez had been asked to attend the retirement and flag-folding ceremony. Footage from the ceremony shows uniformed military standing and pushing him out of the room.
Kelly Shackelford, president and CEO of First Liberty Institute, showed the footage during a Saturday sermon at Gateway Church. Shackelford says his team is now in federal district court in Washington, D.C. fighting for Rodriguez’s First Amendment rights. Watch the video to see for yourself.
