He says Jesus consistently modeled love and defied religious expectations and laws of his day. So why do some prophets try to use their giftings to “separate righteousness from sinfulness” and call people out? To those people, Bolz says, “Don’t do it. It’s not what prophecy’s for. Prophecy shows people who they are instead of who they are not.” He explains why in this video.
