Saddleback Church Pastor Rick Warren was rushed into emergency surgery on Thursday.
“Yesterday morning, Pastor Rick underwent emergency surgery for an intestinal condition,” Saddleback Church confirmed to Charisma. “The surgery went well! He is out now and is expected to fully recover. Please keep Pastor Rick, Kay and their family in your prayers.”
His wife, Kay, was expected to speak at a conference in Ireland, but returned to the United States to be with her husband.
