-.-.-.-that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. —Colossians 4:12
God is a faithful Father. He has a plan for you. Within that plan is the promise of provision. “Where there is no vision, the people cast off all restraint” (Proverbs 29:18 ASV). The vision—the plan of the Father—sets the parameters for our provision, protection, and peace. God will take care of you, as long as you stay in the vision.
When you step into your plan, you step out of His and the protection and provision it supplies. In Colossians 2:10 Paul writes, “We are complete in Him.” In Colossians 4:12, Paul prays that we might stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
If we become complete in the will of God, we march in His plan and provision—because He has, in eternity, laid out our tomorrow, secured its borders, and planted a victory flag in the middle of it. Defeat is not part of God’s plan for you.
Live in God’s plan for you: “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT).
Lord, I surrender all my plans to Your plans.
I know Your plans for me are perfect,
good, and complete. Amen.
