Do the spiritual gifts you been given enter a room when you do?
It was a cold night, and freezing rain fell from the sky. I needed to decide if my husband and I should go to the dinner I was hosting or cancel it? We chose to go and began the 20-minute trek to the restaurant.
We finally made it, and the walk into the building was treacherous—but once again we conquered the ice-covered ground. We were directed to our secluded table for the staff dinner, and all the sudden, as I walked in, I felt the power of God accompany me in a way I had never experienced before when attending a dinner meeting. It was overwhelming. I had experienced it before when I stood up to preach or while writing, but this was the first time I experienced it for a casual gathering. It was very apparent that the Lord was up to something regarding this dinner.
Dr. Steve Greene, Charisma Media’s publisher and executive vice president, states that our anointing and gifts should accompany us every time we walk into a room. We are given gifts to help and bless others. So how do we maximize what we have been given? We display and respond out of our vulnerability and transparency.

In a world where the gifts and anointing given by God are vital, we must learn to walk in godly confidence of who we are in Him and who He is in us. Otherwise, people will not see Jesus but our ability to appear perfected. That night, I shared our harrowing experience, as did everyone, and I exuded confidence of the presence of the Lord. Not everyone at the table had a deep relationship with Jesus, but I guarantee you, they felt His presence enter the room and remain. I may never know this side of heaven what the Lord’s presence that night did, but I know He accomplished something.{eoa}
