And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the Lord your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies. —Numbers 10:9
In His last discourse on earth, Jesus instructed His disciples to go and preach the gospel to all nations (Matthew 28:19). His first priority for His followers was to bring the good news of salvation to as many people as possible.
He followed this instruction with the assurance: “And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils” (Mark 16:17).
Jesus not only intended for the gospel to be made available to all mankind but for His manifested presence to continue to destroy the works of the enemy.
The presence of Jesus Christ is alive and active in every born-again believer-.-.-.-and we have a divine mandate to set the captives free and to tear down the devil’s kingdom! Keep the kingdom priorities ever before you.
Jesus, examine my priorities. Help me
to order my day today with Your priorities.
Help me do everything according to Your
will, in Your way, and in
Your timing. Amen.
