In a recent episode of Live Your Best Life with Liz Wright, Liz shared that she is hearing the Lord say in this season, “The King is here!” Jesus wants to reset you and restore your heart to the truth that His glory and authority are in you.
Liz explained that Adam lost the glory of God, which in Hebrew is the word “kabod,” meaning the heavy, tangible presence of God, and also lost the conscious awareness of being His image and likeness. Jesus restored everything at the Cross, so the glory has also been restored to us!
So many of us know this truth but struggle to walk in the reality that we are the image and likeness of God. For many of us, our experience doesn’t match up with what we read in Scripture to be our inheritance. Be encouraged today because Jesus wants to restore this experience in your life so the heavy, tangible presence of God is a conscious reality for you.
Many of the great revivalists became so desperate to see His power in their lives that they fasted and consecrated themselves in prayer, worship and the Word. They saw incredible breakthroughs because they were re-sensitized to heavenly realities. Liz explained that fasting is a way to become more aware of your spiritual senses, not to earn breakthrough or gain authority.
When the following three things are aligned internally, power flows more effectively through our lives: being connected with His perspective, being convinced of our identity in Him and knowing our throne of authority. Ask the Holy Spirit to blast the confidence of your royal identity into you so that every part of you gets saturated in the experience of the King and your heart is awakened to His wisdom, beauty and likeness in you.{eoa}
