How God’s Glory Realm Operates—And How to Tap Into It

“Now the Lord is the Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, seeing the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, as in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Cor. 3:17–18).

Some things in the Spirit cannot be grasped by faith alone. There are also some things in the Spirit that cannot be released through an anointing. That’s why we must learn how to bring forth the glory. Faith says God is present, the anointing says God rewards, but the glory says, “I Am.”

In a moment’s time, the glory can capture your miracle and overshadow the most difficult situations. The glory is not limited by time, space or circumstance. Neither is it limited by the mind of man or earthly ability. It is eternal and flows into those dimensions with every good and perfect gift that comes from above. There are no limitations in the glory realm.

What is the glory? God is the glory, and the glory is God. The glory is God’s fullness. It’s His manifest presence, His character, His nature, His ability, His provision and the weight and splendor of His majesty. It is the essence of His beauty. The glory is all that He is and all that He has. Everything about God is glorious, and He wants us to know Him in the fullness of His glory because He is the God of glory (See Ps. 138:5; Acts 7:2).

Isaiah 6:1 says, “In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple.” What happens when God shows up in the temple, in the place of His dwelling? What happens when He shows up anywhere? His manifest presence, His glory, fills the temple and as a result, sickness and poverty can no longer stay in that temple. When God fills the temple with His glory, everything that is not glorious must leave to make room for the glory. This is why we need the glory now more than ever before.

Determine to open up more and more to the glory. In the glory, there is increase, there is abundance, there is healing, there is life, there is wholeness, there is provision, there is prosperity and there is deliverance.

Isaiah continued:

Above it stood the seraphim. Each one had six wings. With two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. One cried to another and said:

“Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of Hosts;
the whole earth is full of His glory.”

The posts of the door moved at the voice of him who cried, and the house was filled with smoke (Isa. 6:2-4).

That was the glory cloud. When the glory cloud appears, discord and disunity, problems and difficulties have to go.

We know that the temple God is interested in today is not one made with bricks and mortar. We are now the temple of the Holy Spirit, and the smoke of His presence must manifest in our daily lives. Welcome it, expect it and rejoice in it when it comes.

The Identity of the Glory

Whereas the anointing defines the power of God, the glory defines the person of God. When we consider the trifold nature of God’s identity, revealed through the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we behold the greater revelation of this glory. Some aspects of God’s identity can only be fully realized in the glory dimension.

The apostle Paul identified God as “the Father of glory.” “So that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him” (Eph. 1:17).

Ask God to reveal Himself to you as the Father of glory. Let Him reveal Himself as the source of all glory. Everything about Him is glorious. When you view Him this way, your spirit eyes will be filled with glory.

Many Scriptures speak of Jesus and the glory of God. Through the person of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, we see the unfolding of God’s glory in an even greater way. The psalmist David sang about Him as “the King of glory”: “Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you everlasting doors, that the King of glory may enter” (Ps. 24:7).

God wants you to know Him as the King of glory in your life. As you open up more and more, you create an entrance for the royal procession of heaven to move in and make way for kingly blessings. As you begin to know the glory in this way, get ready to receive both the spiritual and physical manifestation of abundance.

John the beloved recognized: “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). He also recognized the miracle ministry of Jesus that produced glorious outcomes. (See John 2:11.) James called Jesus “the Lord of glory” (James 2:1), and the apostle Paul proclaimed that Jesus Christ inside of us is “the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27). Right now, ask God to give you a revelation of Jesus in His glory. In the past, you may have had a revelation of His saving power or His healing touch, but now He wants to give you a revelation of the radiance of His glory.

It’s His glorious light that brings illumination. (See Revelation 21:23–26.) “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word” (Hebrews 1:3).

You will discover that the deeper you go into the glory, the deeper the glory will go into you. The more you give yourself to this realm, the more you will find yourself thinking of the glory, speaking about the glory, and moving in the glory. When you begin to move in this glory, others may not be able to understand what is happening in your life, especially if they haven’t yet received the revelation of it. For those who have never experienced the glory, these things seem foolish (see 1 Corinthians 2:14), for they are only discerned by the Spirit. Never become discouraged by other people’s lack of spiritual growth or misunderstanding of what is happening in your life. Stay focused on the glory, and let it grow in you. The radiance of glory upon you will speak for itself.

How the Glory Realm Operates

The anointing empowers us to fulfill the Great Commission. “He [Jesus] said to them, ‘Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). The Spirit gives us His anointing, pours it out, smears it all over us and rubs it into us. Then He asks, “What will you do with this?” And we must answer, “I will go out and seek those who are lost and need to be saved, those who are sick and need to be healed, and those who are bound and need to be delivered.” When we get out there and begin to do the work, something shifts. Blessing comes in obedience.

We see this happening in the first church in Acts. In the upper room encounter, they were empowered by the anointing of the Holy Spirit to speak the Word of God with boldness and for one-on-one miracle ministry. The results were amazing. Thousands came to believe.

As we read further, we see scenarios where the vastness of the crowd required more than a one-on-one ministry, and the glory moved in. The apostles called on the Lord: “Stretching out Your hand to heal and that signs and wonders may be performed in the name of Your holy Son Jesus” (Acts 4:30). With this, a deluge of miracles was released upon the masses.

We do our part in the anointing, then God does His part in the glory. Pastor Guillermo Maldonado says it like this, “Faith calls the anointing, but the anointing calls the glory.”

Can you see how these three realms come together and form a new dimension? The power shifts from dunamis, which is the anointing (miraculous power, might and strength), into episkiazo, which is the New Testament cloud of glory, an overshadowing, supernatural influence.

Peter walked in this new dimension of God to such a degree that:

“So that they even brought the sick out into the streets and placed them on beds and mats, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might touch some of them. Crowds also came out of the cities surrounding Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those who were afflicted by evil spirits, and they were all healed” (Acts 5:15–16).

This shows how the shift from anointing into glory is a shift from working personal miracles to moving into a pervading influence with the atmosphere of heaven.

As we work in the anointing, God works in the glory. We hear and obey the simple instruction of God, and get ready to move into a greater realm. When the glory comes, we stand in the glory and allow God to do His work.

The glory is the highest level of power known to man. In the Scriptures, we read about this episkiazo that overshadowed Peter, James and John on the mountaintop where they witnessed the physical transfiguration of Christ and the appearance of Elijah and Moses. (See Matt. 17:5; Mark 9:7; Luke 9:35.) This same glory overshadowed the Virgin Mary and implanted a miracle within her womb (see Luke 1:35.) In the realms of glory, I have seen those who suffered with infertility find their miracle. Healing through the anointing is no longer required in the atmosphere of glory because, in that atmosphere, sickness can no longer exist.

I love the fact that the glory is not reserved for a select few, but is available for anyone who wants it. Those willing to receive it and flow in it will be carried the farthest in this next move of the Spirit. It won’t matter what social status, economic condition or educational degree you have. It will be the glory that makes the difference. You don’t need the touch of man, but a direct impartation from heaven. All that is required is yielding to the glory realm. In this realm, past, present and future are all right now. There is no time, because the glory is the realm of eternity.

Preaching and prophesying are no longer required in the atmosphere of glory. God gave us these tools in the anointing to establish the glory realm. Once it comes, we yield to the revelation of heaven. His instruction is enough.

The influence of God’s glory spreads deep and wide. There is no place or person the glory cannot reach. There is no situation where the glory cannot extend its miracle touch. The glory is the realm of highest power. Are you hungry to go deeper in the Spirit? He has greater things prepared for you as you determine to enter into these glory realms.

Let the glory come! {eoa}
