Don’t Forget the Spoils

Recompense is coming. Recompense is compensation or reward given for loss or harm suffered (as researched from Google.com). Many have gone through battles where they have focused more on surviving and making it through the attacks of the enemy, and they never retrieve the spoils from the warfare. In this moment our Father, who is mighty in battle, wants you to not only WIN (Walk In Newness) but He wants you to retrieve the spoils from your warfare.

Israel fought battles but often the Lord would instruct them to take the spoils, and this moment we are living in is one of those times (Ezek. 38:10-13). Today we call this term looting. Looting is the act of stealing, or the taking of goods by force, in the midst of a military, political or other social crisis, such as war, natural disasters (where law and civil enforcement are temporarily ineffective) or rioting.

The proceeds of all these activities can be described as booty, loot, plunder, spoils or pillage. Your eyes are open to the thief and what he has stolen from you. “People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger when he is starving. Yet when he is found, he must restore sevenfold. He may have to give up all the substance of his house. Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; He who does so destroys his own soul” (Prov. 6:30-32, NKJV).

For centuries, pillage by invading armies was a normal part of warfare: a way in which to reward badly paid or unpaid troops for risking their lives in battle. Nowadays, at least in more civilized countries, we do not let armies rampage for booty. We leave the pillaging to men in suits, and we don’t call it pillaging anymore; we call it economic development. God is a God of restoration, redemption and replenishment. “So, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, The consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.” (Joel 2:25-32, NKJV).

As we move into this next season with God, I hear the Lord decreeing from heaven; “I’m giving My people options! Yes! Options! Circumstances will no longer dictate your distance but I’m anointing My people to have everything they need to go the distance! My faithful ones, I am your source! There is coming an inexhaustible supply from heaven (Mal. 3:10). (Inexhaustible is defined as of an amount or supply of something, unable to be used up because existing in abundance!) The storehouses are opening unto My people! Where you’ve been forced to choose because of limited resources, circumstances and no favor.

“In this next season with My abundant storehouses available to you, all you need will be yours! Where many will fall into lack my children will be provided for! Allow wisdom and prudence to shield you. I will always provide for My children! Psalm 37:19 (CEB); ‘They won’t be ashamed in troubling times, and in a period of famine they will eat their fill.’ Strategy, Strategy, Strategy! You will have what you need to accomplish all that I’ve placed in your heart to do, as you continue to partner with the breakthrough!

“Bring your heart closer, My darling child. Little by little, I am driving out darkness and increasing your capacity for more! My children, I hear your cries. I hear your pleas coming up to My throne! I hear your tears concerning justice! (Psalm 121:1-2, KJV): ‘I will lift mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.’

“I’m coming for My faithful ones. I’m breaking open the way for the barren. I’m dismantling darkness for the desperate! I’m walking with the weary! By My Spirit, you shall see My righteous hand of power and of deliverance. Do not focus on the enemy’s attempts to keep you distracted and off course! Keep your eyes on My steadfast love, protection, righteousness and justice. I will repay the wicked by their works and I will vindicate you! I am a righteous judge! Don’t relent! Don’t shrink back! Go the distance with Me and stay in the lane of promise fulfilled and breakthrough manifested!”

RECEIVE IT! DECREE IT! WALK IN IT! ABBA!
