No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. … And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. —1 John 4:12, 16

There is a powerful, concrete connection between knowing the truth about who God is as the way of experiencing passion for Him. It is the revelation of God’s passionate affection for us that awakens ever-deepening feelings of love and passion for Him.

{ PRAYER STARTER }

God, I know what Your Word has taught me about You. But I want to experience You, not just know about You. Help me to feel the passionate love You have for me.

Simply put, we love Him because
He first loved us (1 John 4:19).
