On October 6, 630 people were baptized in one service at Thailand. According to a Reach a Village video—posted to YouTube Wednesday by Dwight Martin—that makes it “the largest baptism event ever held among the Thai people.”
The baptisms are the result of a church-planting movement focused on discipleship and church planting, which has led to 13,432 confessions of faith, 5,204 baptisms and 516 house churches in the last two years. The movement is affiliated with the Free in Jesus Christ Church Association, according to the video.
