Is It OK for Christians to Involve God in Humorous Conversations?

As Christians, how can we be funny without taking God’s name in vain? YouTuber and radio host Todd Friel says there’s a fine line involved with that.

“Can we ever invoke God into anything funny? The answer to that is, ‘You’ve got to be really careful of that,'” Friel says. “I think the guiding question should be, ‘Is it necessary?’ Humor can be used to really make a point. Sarcasm can be a serrated edge. It can just shred something up, or it can cut something and reveal, ‘Wow, that’s a really bad idea; I’m going to change my thinking on that.'”
