Trauma starts as a shock against the soul or the body. We are overwhelmed and our defense mechanisms are down.
During this time, we may engage in sinful actions, from escape mechanisms to unforgiveness, that open the door to demons. The enemy will work to gain an advantage over us in the midst of trauma while we are in a weakened condition.
