Taylor Turkington, director of Women’s Training Network for The Gospel Coalition, says churches need to have more models and resources for women with the gift of teaching to follow and utilize. Currently, pastoral roles are not as easily accessible for women as they are for men, but that is changing.
“As we think about the church, God has gifted all His people—He’s gifted men, He’s gifted women,” Turkington says. “When we look at women who have a gift of teaching, we want to equip them just like we equip all the saints for the work of the ministry.”
