Francis Chan recently pointed out that listening to sermons is like bathing in dirty water compared to listening to the pure Word of God (which he compared to pure water). The well-known pastor says, “We in America were part of this generation that got so tied to voices and personalities and everything else, and it’s time for us to just love the pure Word.” And then Chan leaves the stage and lets his wife come up to read the Bible. Do you agree with his take? Let us know in the comments.
