Many have ended up relating to the Godhead through Yeshua. We need to understand that Jesus is the way to the destination, but the Father is the destination.
Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).
Yeshua was sent into the world by the Father to bring us to Himself. Please do not misunderstand what I am saying. In no way am I compromising or lessening the person of Yeshua. No. Yeshua has always been and will always be the eternal Son. The Son has always been in the bosom of the Father.

“No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared Him” (John 1:18, KJV.)
The point I want to make is that much of the Church places little or no emphasis on the Father. They tend to put all their attention on Jesus, and that is out of balance. The emphasis should not only be on Jesus. We must remember that Yeshua taught that the Father “Is greater than all” (John 10:29). He is the originator of life.
Apostle Paul tells us: “For from Him (speaking of the Father), and through Him, and for Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever” (Rom. 11:36).
I want us to see the Father’s preeminence. Yeshua was deeply aware of this. When He was questioned about the day of His return, He replied, “But about that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone” (Matt. 24:36).
Blessed Church, I’m calling us to align our relationship with the Father. God is the ultimate destination. Again, consider what Jesus said, “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God” (John 17:3).
When we examine how many pray, it often begins with Jesus. The prayer is to Jesus. But that is really not in Biblical alignment with how to relate to the Godhead or how Yeshua taught us to pray, “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name’” (Matt. 6:9).
Our prayers should be directed to the Father.
Why?
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, having predestined us to adoption as sons” (Eph. 1:3-5).
Who is the One that blessed us?
Who is the One that chose us?
Who is the One that adopted us?
The Father is the one who blessed us, the Father is the one who chose us, and the Father is the one who predestined us to Himself, as sons and daughters.
Can some of you sense that your heart has been out of alignment because you have been focused only on Jesus? Has your emphasis ended with Jesus? Instead of continuing with the understanding that the destination is the Father. Beloved, the primary relationship that we have been called into is that of being a son or daughter of the Father. We have been predestined through adoption (Eph. 1:5), and all of this was made possible because of the Son.
The principal relationship in all of the universe, in all of creation, in all that exists, is the relationship between the Father and the Son. The Son has always been.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God” (John 1:1, 2).
The Word, who is Jesus, became flesh, and dwelt among us – He has always existed. There has always been an eternal relationship between the Father and His Son.
We have been chosen by the Father and predestined to the Father through the Son. The primary focus of the Father’s love is forever focused on His Son. The Father has adopted us through the Son. We are now in Messiah Yeshua, the Son. The Father’s love is focused upon us in the same way that it’s focused upon His Son.
The love that the Father has for His Son will go on forever and ever. The Son will never stop relating to God as His Father. Likewise, we are also predestined forever to be the sons and the daughters of God, to experience forever His unfailing love. And there is nothing that can take that away!
“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom. 8:38, 39).
Father, we pray that You would overshadow us with Your love. Father, we know it takes the power of the Holy Spirit upon us and within us to bring us into an internal realization of Your love for us. And to know for ourselves that we are truly Your sons and daughters.

I pray that we would receive the truth that I’m proclaiming now. And that it would bring us into an experiential knowledge, revelation, and realization of Your love for us. Father, I ask that You would make us secure in our hearts in Your love. That we know that we are truly safe from danger. Yeshua, You said: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19, KJV).
Father, I pray that we would find our identity in You – that we are Your sons and daughters.
