This Kingdom Principle Will Change Your Life

In part one of this two-part article, I said that I’d release a life-changing kingdom principle into your lives. This kingdom principle, when applied, will empower you to take more ground and be propelled into greater things than you could have ever imagined. Your mind is about to take a quantum leap into victorious living. This promise is going to renew your mind.

Let’s start back with John 20:24-29:

But Thomas, one of the twelve, called The Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”

But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail prints in His hands, and put my finger in the nail prints, and put my hand in His side, I will not believe.”

After eight days His disciples were again inside with the doors shut, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came and stood among them, and said, “Peace be with you.” Then He said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at My hands. Put your hand here and place it in My side. Do not be faithless, but believing.”

Thomas answered Him, “My Lord and my God!”

Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have yet believed.”

Jesus tells Thomas to put his finger in Jesus’ hand; He tells Thomas to put his hand in Jesus’ side to see that it was really Him. Thomas then says, “I believe because I see.” Then Jesus says this game-changing statement:

“Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have yet believed.”

Blessed are those who have not seen, and have yet believed. “Blessed” is the Greek word makarios, which means to be happy or blissful, but it also means a self-contained happiness.

The Greeks called the Island of Cypress Makarios, or “The Happy Isle.” Cypress is located about 400 km from Greece, it was known as the blessed island because it had everything and anything one could ever want. The residents didn’t need to leave the island in order to have their needs met. If you wanted to produce wine, it had amazing soil for vineyards. You could ski in the day and go for a walk along the seashore at night. The natural resources of the blessed island were plentiful, rich, fruitful and productive. Its geographical location provided a perfect climate and fertile soil; everything they needed to enjoy their lives was already built in and sustainable. Jesus was saying to Thomas, and to us today: Blessed, happy, blissful and nothing missing is the one who can believe when he doesn’t see!

Problems Produce Power

Why should we be blessed when we don’t see what we are believing for? Simply because every problem and every pain must have a pay day. The fact is every time there is a no from the enemy, there is a greater amount of grace added to your account. Let me further explain through the following passage found in Luke 4.

After Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River, He goes straight into the wilderness, full of the Spirit. He fasts for 40 days, and at Jesus’ weakest point, the enemy shows up and begins to come against Him with trials and temptations. Jesus goes into the trials, full of the Spirit and deals with lack, hunger and loneliness—and comes out full of power!

If you are full of God and you step into a trial, a tribulation, a pain or a problem, know this: Problems produce power.

Because of the blood of Jesus Christ, you need to say this out loud: “I am full of God, even on my worse day.”

Say this out loud too: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, even on my worse day.”

Hallelujah

You did not make yourself holy to become the righteousness of God. No, you were made the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus, despite your shortcomings. That’s why you can say with boldness, on your worst day, “I am full of God.” So cognitively knowing you are full of God, even on your worst day and every time the enemy throws something at you or anytime you are accused, know this: There’s about to be an increase of power in your life.

As you keep believing and keep standing in the midst of extreme opposition, the grace factor kicks in. Jesus is saying that if you have the audacity to keep believing when you don’t see your expected outcome, you will experience the manifestation of the greater grace.

James 1:2 says to count it all joy when you fall into various trials. Why should we do this?

Because, Romans 5:20 says, “But the law entered, so that sin might increase, but where sin increased, grace abounded much more.” What does this mean?

It means we will be victorious according to 2 Corinthians 9:8, “God is able to make all grace abound toward you, so that you, always having enough of everything, may abound to every good work.”

God’s Grace Is His Enabling Power

When we look at two more Scriptures, we can see an even clearer picture of what this means for us:

Isaiah 59:19b says, “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.”

Psalms 29:10 says, “The Lord sits enthroned above the flood, the Lord sits as King forever.”

Every time the enemy comes in like a flood, God is already enthroned on that flood as King forever. He’s just waiting for somebody to believe right in the midst of everything.

He’s waiting for somebody to keep praising right in the midst of the contrary.

As you believe when the floods of unbelief, doubt, accusation and lies abound, you begin to put a demand on the greater grace of God. A reservoir of His eternal glory is beginning to be filled. So every time the enemy comes and says no—and you keep standing—there begins a multiplication of God’s grace until suddenly His grace is too great! You are then propelled into greater things than you would have been had these problems not come your way. We never loose in the kingdom. We either win or learn, and then we win.

Just keep standing through these days because you will see the goodness of the Lord! Your spheres of influence will see the goodness of the Lord on you, and you will begin to be their breakthrough as well. People are waiting to see the manifestation of the sons of God who have the faith to keep standing!
