Often, in the Christian faith, we lift up pastors, evangelists or musicians on pedestals, and we strive to be like them. But nothing apart from a relationship with Jesus Christ will fulfill you and bring glory to the Father.
I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world through our crusades, but my relationship and intimacy with the Lord is the real prize.
Reinhard Bonnke once said, “I stay on my knees, so the praises of men go right over my head.” The key to the Christian life is a relationship with Jesus. The signs and wonders are demonstrations of His message, but when they become the main thing, we have missed the most important thing, and His name is Jesus.
Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
