I’ve been in the ministry for thirty years. Through those years I have grieved with many who have told me stories of their terrible hardships—stories of molestation, abuse, and perversion at the hands of cruel and hateful people. But I know that even if they had never experienced real love, God’s Word offers each one bondage-breaking truth and joyful hope through the revelation of God’s heart for them. The knowledge of God’s pure, faithful, passionate affection for us is far more powerful and life transforming than anything we can receive from our earthly father.

The knowledge of Your love has transformed my life, O God. I long to pass that knowledge of love on to those I know who need the transformation of Your love to revolutionize their hearts and lives.
It is the Holy Spirit, not human witnesses,
who reveals God’s love for us and makes Him real to our hearts,
and that revelation is available to everyone.
