Religious spirits are established in churches and elsewhere to keep people from being a part of what God is doing. These spirits can destroy relationships, distort the truth and disrupt the holy atmosphere of a service. Their purpose is to hinder the authentic work of the Spirit by imposing legalistic rules and traditions on the unsuspecting. Expose these elements for what they are and refuse to participate in their work against the kingdom of God.

HEART ISSUE:
Examine yourself and see if you are shutting out someone by being too “churchy” or judgmental in his or her presence. Pray especially for those who are new in Christ. Move among them as He would, exhibiting love, patience and compassion.
PRAYER FOCUS:
Father, I thank You that because of Jesus I can respond to others as a faithful, compassionate ambassador of Your love. Amen.
